Born in Tempa,Florida Sanborn was contracted Polio at the age of three and in its aftermath he started to play saxophone on the instructions of his physician,who believed it would help him in support his chest muscles.As always his solos and prolific sessions waved through out America and across the world as a bandleader.A Change of Heart topped out at number three on the jazz charts in the late 80’s.Straight to the heart won him a Grammy but this decade saw his own music than session appearances.
